As a Wellness & Nutrition Coach, I’m obsessed with helping women tackle their 20s & 30s (and sometimes beyond) with grace, humor, healthy habits, and an attitude of self-love. Together, we learn to look at personal wellness as a series of actively pursued goals that are within our control. We learn how to nourish our bodies with whole plant foods while maintaining a positive relationship with ”fun” or convenient foods. We incorporate enjoyable movement, self-care, and mental health support into our daily routines in ways that spark joy. My goal is to empower you to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle that gives you the strength, energy, & confidence to go after your wildest dreams!

One of the things that makes the absolute biggest difference in the way I feel and function every day is the quality of my SLEEP! In this episode I'm sharing exactly what I do every night to encourage my brain and body to get the most peaceful, restorative rest possible.

Some of my fav bedtime products:
- I don't have specific brand of melatonin I use; I find them all really equally effective. When I really know my sleep has been poor or I am anxious at bedtime, I use this Prime Sleep supplement. *affiliate link
- Also a big CBD fan - I use Bison Botanics.

In learning to think outside the box about food & eat in new, creative, ways, my exposure to new foods grew SO much! Instead of feeling restricted or deprived, being vegan/eating a plant-based diet has given me more options in the kitchen than I ever knew existed.
Of course, you don't need to identify as vegan or even plant-based to incorporate the foods I share in this episode, just like you don't need to be plant-based to eat an apple, chips & salsa, almonds, etc. They're just new, super nutritious foods to add to your wheelhouse & expand your options!

You are strong. And you are smart. You are capable of doing hard things; you are capable of doing anything you want to. I wholeheartedly believe that! And I also believe that it is normal to have cravings that you don't feel able to beat and that feel out of your control, especially when it comes to foods that are full of sugar, fat, sodium... Those taste good to humans! You are human!
Controlling cravings is not about willpower. It is very much about your mindset around food and the practical strategies and steps that you take each day. THAT is what we will be chatting about in today's episode.

It’s time for you to get up and move your body! You don’t need an exercise program to get the benefits of movement - you just need to go for a walk!
Walking is probably my favorite form of self-care. I swear I could stroll around town for hours, by myself, with my dog ChaCha, with my mom, with a friend… I walk and talk, walk and work, walk and think, walk and breathe… and I HIGHLY encourage you to give it a try, too!
